The Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Agriculture is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of agricultural science and its applications. Over the course of four years, students will delve into various aspects of agriculture.

Soil Science and Agronomy: Understanding soil properties, fertility, and management practices to enhance crop production.
Plant Pathology and Entomology: Studying plant diseases and pests, and learning methods to control and prevent them.
⁠Horticulture: Exploring the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and ornamental plants.
Animal Husbandry: Learning about the care, breeding, and management of livestock to improve productivity and health.
Agricultural Economics: Analysing economic principles and their application to agricultural production and marketing.
Farm Management: Developing skills in managing farm operations, including resource allocation, financial planning, and decision-making.
⁠Biotechnology: Applying biotechnological techniques to improve crop yield, resistance to pests and diseases, and nutritional quality.
Irrigation and Water Management: Understanding the principles and practices of efficient water use in agriculture.
Sustainable Agriculture: Emphasizing environmentally friendly practices that ensure long-term agricultural productivity and ecological balance.
Agricultural Engineering: Learning about the design and use of machinery and equipment in farming operations.
